Help us to finish building our conservation focused school

So far, we have built 4 classroom blocks, toilets, running water, a water tank, a community garden, a goat shed, and a playground for playing football and netball.

The school opened its doors in February 2024 and it now has 230 children aged between 3-17. We have 8 classrooms from kindergarten to P5 and 16 employees.

We still need to build 3 more classrooms, a standard toilet block for both children and teachers/volunteers, an accommodation block for teachers, a dormitory for students and a multipurpose hall for full school events like presentations, debates and exams.

So as you can see, we have many projects left to complete. We are currently fundraising and searching for grants to be able to accomplish these goals as soon as possible.

If would like to help, you could make a donation, recommend, or suggest to us grants/organisations that may be able to help us or even come to the school to help raise awareness and support with painting/construction projects.

Our journey so far

Citizen’s Dream Relief Initiative’s goal is not only to provide education but also to bring an abundance of food to the local community and protect the natural environment by teaching citizens about modern and sustainable farming methods.

Our vision is to purchase Farmland close to the town where we can grow nutritious crops. At the heart of the farm, there will be a school where children and adults alike can learn about and practice such things as:

  • Modern farming methods: learning how to increase efficiency, yields, disease resistance, and nutritional value
  • Enviromental sustainability: learning how to reduce soil erosion, water pollution, pesticide use
  • Community composting: learning how to compost freely available agricultural and domestic food waste to create nutrient rich mulch for growing more food
  • Wildlife conservation: learning about supporting and protecting local plant & animal species
  • Permaculture & restoration: learning how to restore barren or polluted areas into lush ecosystems which also provide food to the community

These dreams will be made entirely possible with the help of generous donations. Please support our fundraising efforts to make these plans materialize.
